Esther Fernández Mostaza
PhD in Sociology (1996) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a Degree in Sociology (1990) and Information Sciences (1987) from the same university. She has completed post-doctoral research at universities in Finland, the Netherlands and Italy. She has been a tenured professor since 2002 at the UAB.
She combines teaching with management tasks within the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, being Vice Dean of Academic Organization (2009-2012), Coordinator of Degree Programs (2012-2018), and Director of the Department of Sociology (2018-2020) of the Faculty.
