Antonio Montañés & Ramon Macià – Young Sociologiest’ Prize

The ISOR researchers Antonio Montañés and Ramon Macià have been awarded with the 2019 Young Sociologists’ Prize of the Catalan Association of Sociology (ACS), a branch of the Institute of Catalan Studies (IEC). The prize was awarded due to the unpublished article «Tan bon punt dius que ets evangèlic, la gent ja no en vol saber res». Evangelisme urbà, cohesió i heroisme religiós a les esglésies pentecostals llatinoamericanes de Barcelona, which both authors have written from an extensive field work in the framework of the Urban Religions research project. The award ceremony will be held on April 30, together with the other prizes of the different IEC subsidiaries and sections.
