
Romina Martínez Algueró
Postdoctoral researcher at the ISOR research group. PhD in Anthropolgy with Cum Laude Mention from the University of Barcelona in 2022. Her doctoral thesis was funded by APIF-UB grants. Her previous predoctoral training took place at Universitat de Barcelona (BA and MA in Anthropology), and at the University of Rovira i Virgili (BA in Publicity).
She has participated in three MICINN R+D+i projects (CSO2012-34768, CSO2015-68476-P, PID2019-107929RB-I00 -ongoing-), and she has had six predoctoral stays in Senegal. She has coordinated different national projects: CLT051/22/000015 Medecina subalterna i gènere a la Catalunya maltractada. Curanderes del Montsià i del Segrià (co-IP: Manuel Delgado), CLT051/20/000008 Cultura quinqui i memòria de barri a Pomar (co-IP: Marta Venceslao), AP30/19 Que no ens toquin els bous. Auge de les tradicions taurines i lluita per la dignitat a les Terres de l’Ebre.
